Brothers Meet Aroad

A recent chance meeting in a cinema in North Africa, of two Mexborough brothers, Gunner Thomas Arnold Bond (35), and Gunner Fred Bond (33) is revealed in a letter to their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Bond, 46, Park Road, Mexborough.

Fred is married and his wife lives in Lancaster Street, Thurnscoe.

Both went out to North Africa around Christmas with difference units.

Thomas was previously employed by Mexborough Urban District Council and Fred worked at Brodsworth Main Colliery.
