Below are four sons of Mr. and Mrs .G. Firth, 59 High Street, Thurnscoe

Petty officer Edward Firth, R.N. (second from left), has now completed twelve years’ service.

Cpl. Ernest Firth (R.F.A..),(second from right) enlisted  three years ago, as did Pte. Percy Firth (Y. and L.) (left), who was recently wounded and is now in hospital.

Pte. Herbert Firth (Royal Fusiliers),(right) is officially reported missing since March 25, and his anxious parents would be grateful for intelligence of him.
