Thurnscoe Quartet
Mr. and Ms. G. J. Savage, of 35, Butcher St., Thurnscoe, have three sons and one grandson in the Forces.
Richard Savage has been in the R.A. for 3 ½ years and is at present in France. R. Savage is in the R.A., too, and has been in the Middle East for four years. He was an employee of the Dearne U.D.C. before joining up.
Harry Savage at present in India, is an old boy of Wath Grammar School and from there went to the Morris Motor Works at Birmingham, from where he joined the Forces.
The youngest is George Savage the Grandson, who has been in the Forces for nine months. He worked for his father before enlistment.
