L.A/c.1 Alexander Lewis (38), of Thurnscoe, is in the West Indies.  He joined the R.A.F. in 1941, and served in England and then in Canada, and for the last twelve months has been in the West Indies.

Before joining up he was a miner at Hickleton Main.

His wife and two children reside at 4, Roman Street, Thurnscoe.
